I would like compensation as I paid for a service that I was not provided.
I asked for a big van, 1 man crew and space for 1 person for journey to delivery location. I also paid for assembles and inassembly via online. On day the men charged additional £60.

I’m disappointed in the service I received. 2 of my bag were not delivered, and everything I try to call the number proved when I book then to ask if they could check in the van for my bags, they tell me they will call me back. I’ve sent a text and an email and still haven’t got a reply. It’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t received any updates

Terrible Terrible
Terrible Terrible! Booked 3 weeks ago for my move, paid a deposit.
Text driver last night to confirm all OK, no response. Called this morning, told me not booked.
Finally get communication from compare the man & van to be advised driver declined booking!!
Not once was advised of this before speaking to driver!! Now 3 days before I move i have no removals! I don't seem to be getting an awful lot of input from "customer services" on this matter with finding another driver; they are not the service provider, just booking service apparently! So clearly not fussed on reviewing appalling reviews to continue getting bookings from their booking service!
I really hope deposit refund will not be a further let down & disappointment

We were told at the last minute that the van had been changed. The driver was 45 mins late and had furniture in the van so could not get all my belongings in there had to rely on a friend to pick the rest up in his car

Cannot change a size of van

Rubbish website don’t use
Compare website changes my booking at the last minute. They didn’t forward the description of items. I booked a Large Van and the driver shown up with a transit. Result I paid twice the price said because we had to do it in 2 times. I am absolutely FUMING. The guys were great tho but 2h late and the wrong van and I have to pay for it???? That’s a joke. Just don’t use compare.com no customer service no phone number. RUBBISH

Adam has been very helpful, updated us om his time of arrival, and helpes us load and unload the stuffs we have. We were really satisfied with the service.
Mis selling services and charging large cancellation fees
The "company" has mis sold me the service. It clearly said that there were two passenger seats and then I was told after I had booked that there were only one seat available. The company then has the audacity to charge me 15% of the fees as cancellation charges. Do not use this fraud of a company!
The company has replied back to me to say that they state the number of seats that are in the car and that the terms and conditions are stated.
It seems as if they don’t know what marketing fraud is.
Let me state it clearly again, company states in its website that you can have x number of seats to travel in the van.
Once you pay, you then find out that the number of seats is lower.
You want to change the booking but can’t and then have to cancel and they keep their cut.
FRAUD!

No Customer Service, Unreliable Service.
I am very disappointed with the service this website has provided. I booked a man with a van on the 20th of June (plenty of time before my move) only for the driver to pull out less than 12 before the booking! Firstly why can't I review this driver for this.. I've been texting him for confirmations through the week, I should be able to provide a bad review stating how unreliable this company is.
Secondly I booked based on experience and trips completed were not the cheapest, the Driver that I was assigned to replace this individual didn't have the same experience and was likely cheaper! The first driver that I was offered also canceled within an hour, Another driver was assigned and this driver was on time and I am fairly happy with the service however I was unable to join him as he was not insured to carry a passenger (something that was important to me as I wanted to ensure my possessions were handled with care on the other end!)
This has caused a great deal of extra stress in an already stressful time. I contacted the company twice expecting some kind of communication or a refund for the difference of the cheaper driver but received no reply
Driver Reviews mean nothing as you can't review ones that cancel on you, 0 customer service, avoid these guys.
